cec I've looked at Calaf's guidelines on uploading multiple images.. ukwoodfiredovenforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=info&action=display&thread=111 ....but can't see anything on uploading multiple images. hope someone can help. The only way I've found of uploading multiple images on the same thread is to find a picture on your PC > right click and choose the "copy image URL" option. Return to your thread/post and click on the "insert image" icon (above the angry smiley) ....and this will appear [/img] ....left click in between the 2 brackets, then right click and choose "copy".......then just repeat the process. There must be a simpler method....hope someone can advise. Terry

.....just a concern on your build. Have you left enough room on your slab to add thermal blanket/insulation to your dome.......if not you could always remove the paving slab?.....cut it in the centre and add another strip through the middle creating a cantilever type of slab.

Hey, hey...another fine build! Along the lines of my plans!
A question?... How did you fix and support your Gas BBQ to the Brickwork, please?

Terry Yeah I've looked at this and I've measured the bricks plus 5" and I think it will be ok , the decking work top at the sides will be getting moved , I was a bit limited on size as it needed to be central to brickwork on the old oven which will be use as a wood store now. Bookemdanno I fixed the BBQ with just plain old angle iron on the bricks and BBQ sat on that , that BBQ is going as I need one with a hood on , I used to have a 6 burner outback but it was to big to fit where I needed it to .

Build is looking great.
The way I post multiple images is to:
1. Upload images to a photo hosting website. (I use imageshack.com)
2. Once the photos are on the web, you then put the URL address in your post. I simply cut and paste the code/url to embed the photo in the post. As terry said, it is just the url between the two "imgage" charicters. (In the case of imageshack you can simply click on a tool entitled something like "embed this image in forum". You then cut and paste the code into the post. Basically the same as what Terry said although it removes one step.)
3. Repeat.

there might be an app for Photobucket which is the same idea. Getting images off the iPad is the only thing I actually hate on the iPad, can't even Bluetooth it over to a phone... Bloody annoying if You have no pc to sync to. Such a pain as otherwise is a great device which is in constant use here.
for Photobucket you can email them the image and it gets added to your account which is what my wife did I believe in the end.

Yeah I've tried bluetooth but you can only do it to a iPhone , We really only ever use iPad , it's just so handy , I think when I get a bit more done I will take pics with a camera then put them on pc

I use my dropbox account. If you put something in the folder called public than right click on it on the desktop or on the website you get an option "copy public link" Then just paste it into the img brackets.
I also resize the pic down or the photos are massive.
Dropbox on android can now automatic upload your camera photos so it is easy to get them off you phone. It is great no messing about they are just there on your computer when you look for them. I think it is coming soon for ipad

I'v been thinking about my floor in the oven , Which would be best a fire brick floor or a quarry tile floor ? , I think a quarry tile floor will look more rustic and in keeping with the old Italian look , It will have thermolite blocks underneath so it will be well insulated .
What is cement fondue ? , has anyone used it ? I'v know it's a heat proof cement , but will it work for this project ? , Or should I just stick to the home brew mix ?
Oh and if there is anyone living in north Lincolnshire I'v found a superb company that does fire bricks powdered clay heat proof cements , it's called Trent refactory in Scunthorpe

Cec
On another ongoing build a member has laid quarry tiles over fire-bricks. Another member voiced concern, that he had experience of using quarry tiles and he found they spall and "pop" after many full firings. If you can use fire-brick this is always the best option.
Fondue ciment has a higher alumina percentage and good refractory properties, but it is a "very" fast setting cement. Perfect if you are using a jig and forming the dome free-hand.....even then you can only mix up small quantities at a time.
