Amazing! 100x better than my humble attempt and a truly bespoke and unique addition to the oven. The rose looks fantastic. You must be really pleased with the results of your hard (and wet, I know!) work.
I don't know what I am more amazed at, the quality of the finished product, or the fact that your flower pot and chimney are so perfectly paired! Why can I never find the right sized circle?

Wowzers! I really like those countertops! Very well, done and i commend you on your tenacity to make the idea work. You can get your garden back now! Fantastic work, and thank you for sharing it. Did you still use the luminescent pieces?

bookemdanno, I still used the luminescent pieces, you can see them as the off-white pieces. I'm saving the night-time photo for when it's all in place

What a build! Think I'm going to have to find a way to shoe horn some polished glow in the dark concrete into my build!
Any photos of it now its presumably completed and being used?

The countertop is indeed finished I'm just waiting to get a bunch of mates together (and I'll need quite a few at 250Kg+ each) to lift it into place. Hopefully sometime in April. Once that's complete I'll add more photos!

Duncan
What a brilliant job you've done. ....I love every aspect of your Wood-fired oven/cooking station. The oven is a work of art in itself and I truly admire your bricklaying skills.....especially that granite? counter top.

The episode aired the Friday just gone episode 2. It's available on catch-up via itv player, sky or even YouTube (strangely, but in a good way) the YouTube video is official, so it's good quality and won't be taken down.
I managed to make episode 3, which will be on this Friday, 9-10PM ITV1.
Good luck with the concrete countertop, can't wait to see a million pics. What sort of ideas are you thinking about for it?
