on my test burns i found the chimney didn't draw very well. so i have purchased this bad boy. hopefully fit it tomorrow before the final layer of render. i picked it up for £50 from my local travis perkins. I had spent month trawling ebay, gum tree and local salvage yards, but they were all either in a shoddy state, more money or really far away.

my friend made a door for me. Recycled some pipe clips and a old steel blast door. All for free

was nable to do any rendering on saturday, so i thought i would fire her up on sunday. worked perfectly with the door. i did however put too much wood - and burnt the pizza a bit, apart from this they came out pretty week.

had a few set backs. the chimney pot i picked up from travis perkins blew up when it got too hot!! when it blew, it took a few chunks out the render which have filled.
with that, the bad weather and work, i haven't been able to complete as quickly as i would like.
I have just purchased a stainless steel flu from Vitcas which I'm going to install over the weekend.
