Thanks Guys this is great information. I will try a different butcher and hopefully find one who cuts the carcass and not prepacks. There are only 3 retail butchers left in Carmarthen now, the supermarkets have taken the trade. I might just take with me a photo on my phone of what I want. is eynons in st clears still there ?? used to be my favourite butchers |

I was going to suggest that marcus has holiday / cooking lets and he could add photography as well ( better book me in for that one) and now just looking at Calafs stunning wine bottle photograph perhaps there is another career move for him as well

  could not post the chicken roasted piccie on FB ( perhaps tomorrow) the romtopf was a success !! and the smoked garlic is destined for the soup of the day tomorrow !!!
