For a Outdoor kitchen you will always need a roof or a section of roof to stay dry in.
You will always need a basin as you mentioned you need water and place to wash hands so a sink is a must .
A big work surface to prep and to dish cooked food up or on to plates bowls to transport into the house or store to eat outside
ANd then you can never have enough to cook with bbq/wfo/smokers. Like ANd as minesamojito says a WFO isnt the same as a BbQ.
YOu need a good type Charcoal bbq preferably build in A WFO ANd a gas BBq for convenience when it suits
You also can adapt your charcoal type bbq to smoke and take griddles, dutch ovens etc. Its also good to be able to shield it from elements and keep in heat if you have to when ts cold and windy wind chill can be a problem with any outdoor cooking
ANd can never go wrong with a extra kettle for very bad cold weather that holds in the heat and can be very fast to cook with . It can also be transported if you want to go away for a day etc
Then also plenty shielding for you r outdoor kitchen by ways of hedging, fencing and woven wooden stick fencing etc some are also for decorative purposes as well as shelter
You need power to drive fridge etc and also to have light and maybe to use other electrical appliances.
Like the photos of your Outdoor kitchen RG
One of the best things i did was finaly finish my roof on my outdoor kitchen . But still need to finish my WFO. The foundation and base is there for the WFO and crannyfradock says he will do it for me if i dont have it done by the end of this year . Once my WFO is finished i wil have the best of all worlds. yes i can do pizzas in my bbq . But a WFO is very flexable and is brilliant for backing and so many more things .
One small problem is it all cost a lot of money and time and we cant always do everything in one go . Thats why i still havent finished my WFO
Cant wait to see your drawings and plans and sure you are somebody to be watching .
