John Yes.....we are talking about the internal skin of blockwork used in new builds. They have many names but are very lightweight and are used in new builds in Staines, Cardiff, Azerbahjahn, Jordan.....and in Ireland. Not sure what you mean by "across the water", but if you have a "jewsons" who deliver to your area, you may get a good deal from our own discount account with Jewsons. Many forum members have saved a few shillings using our discount account with them.....others have found local builders more competative in their prices. was looking at their site. they deliver to northern ireland but no base on this side of the irish sea.
might ring them see if they ever deliver to Dublin port if so i will save fair bit
the thermolite style blocs, or aerrated blocks, lay them flat or on side?

Flat There must be SOMEONE who stocks them over there. Try the diy stores builders merchs. They're standard in just about every house build to use for internal walls.

when you told me that THERMOLITE blocks are just standard breeze or aerrated blocks i am sorted. i can get them locally no worries ata ll and should be cheap.
