*still available* I have got some material for the cooking surface of wood fired ovens. Some time ago I bought a bernito overn MK II, and I also bought nice smooth large tiles that he also supplies. These tiles are especially light and are designed for his lightweight ovens. They provide some retained heat, and a much smoother surface to put the pizza on. However, I decided to use quarry tiles instead, as my oven is fixed. So, I have these unused tiles available if anyone is interested. Firstly, I am not quite sure what material they are made from, but I think they are cordierite (magnesium aluminiosilicate). I have six of them, and their vital statistics are: 28.5 x 30 x1 cm. Weight is 940gm each. They are lightweight and fragile, some have some small chipping on some corners, but you will end up cutting the tiles to shape anyway. Is anyone interested?
