day 2 (day 1 ground work on other camera and I can't find the lead just now, day 0 was clearing the ground for the groundwork...) Stand is up. will give it an extra day to set prior to pouring the concrete for the oven floor. Couple of pictures showing the arch on the ground and mock-up of the oven. Got to 5 courses without any support... Attachments:

Hi Mike look forward to seeing your build. If you want to post more than 1 pic to your posts you need to upload your pictures to an on-line server - Imageshack, photobucket . I've been using photobucket. Its free and you'll have plenty of storage. When your posting click on the icon above the 'angry' face, looks like a tiny landscape and you'll get this [/img] navigate on a new tab to your on-line library copy the URL of the online image you want by right clicking on it - 'copy URL' Then place your cursor between the two middle brackets in your post right click and paste. Looks like garbage but is the link to the pic Repeat this for additional images Rick

Sorry for the delay, been building... will try and upload photos through the build. it is built and I am seasoning it. Nervously waiting to start using it. <div style="width:480px;text-align:right;"><embed width="480" height="360" src="http://pic2.pbsrc.com/flash/rss_slideshow.swf" flashvars="rssFeed=http%3A%2F%2Ffeed1349.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fp744%2FMikebshirley%2FOven%2520build%2Ffeed.rss" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" /><a href="javascript:void(0);" target="_blank"><img src="http://pic.photobucket.com/share/icons/embed/btn_geturs.gif" style="border:none;" /></a><a href="http://s1349.photobucket.com/user/Mikebshirley/library/Oven%20build" target="_blank"><img src="http://pic.photobucket.com/share/icons/embed/btn_viewall.gif" style="border:none;" alt="Mikebshirley's Oven build album on Photobucket" /></a></div>[/img] hopefully this will give my pictures

Fixed those for you. Looks to me like you copied the link from the 'Img' choice in the 'Links to share this photo' section in the top right of photo bucket. If your using that then you don't need to use the button moonhead described as it is already in the correct format. You can just paste the copied link straight into your reply. By using the button you ended up with too many img tags
where you need only

Mike
I love the finish of your oven.....and love that pot.
I was a bit concerned that you didn't fill your perps (gaps between the bricks) ..as you built up the rigs of the dome. Now that the dome is enclosed it won't affect the structure but you may find that any unfilled gaps may hold soot/carbon when up and running....
I really do like the finish to your oven....I've only seen this style once before......from the clever chaps from "Orchard Ovens" who now operate within the structure of "Jamie Oliver" ovens.
