From another thread a discussion was started around dogs, particularly the poodle mixes known as doodles. I am the proud owner of a gorgeous Labradoodle called Winston, he's completely loopy and still in the destroying everything in sight phase. Anyone else have favourite breeds or questions they desperately need answered? Pics a prerequisite!

Here's a picture of Worf, who passed away 2 weeks ago at the tender age of 2 years: He was an absolute angel; and while I've had quite a few dogs (GSD, Great Dane, Ridgeback), I've always had a soft spot for rotties and their crosses. They have a bad reputation, spend years in the rescues as no-one wants them... but with some guidance they make the sweetest dogs on the planet. Obi is joining us soon, who is my first non-rescue and non-rottie in a long time. He is currently 6.5 weeks old, but very curious. Sadly, I probably wont see him for another week and a half, or when I'm going to bring him home. You'll notice from the names that I'm a bit of a geek I'll try to dig up pictures of my older dogs - but they were in the era before digital cameras, so don't have them to hand easily... M. Here's Meg the Dog: 50 kilos of Deerhound Lurcher and tall enough to take food straight off the table without even stretching. She's getting to be an old lady now, but a few years ago she was a film star - got the part of Maid Marian's dog in the recent Ridley Scott remake of "Robin Hood".

This is Tyler who we lost on the 21st March 2012 at 14.5 years. I still miss him and he always manages to get into conversations everyday. My other half was really ill for a few years, and Tyler made her focus on him and she never gave up ! ;D I am not a religious person, but if their was a God, surely we would get a dog when we were children and they would have lifespans similar to ourselves............ (a bit golden compass......) Attachments:
