unfortunately didnt take too much advice from this thread as it all seemed to work out quite well with plenty of people wanting to lend a hand with the oven.... not the dough making though!!

thanks for all the advice, i will try the rice flour once my semolina flour runs out as that seems to work very well at the minute. Hopefully the thread can keep going and help others in need!!!

I started off by using rice flour then switched to the semolina flour because it's much better for the job.

Party held for my birthday last night for 11 (and I did ALL the work!) went really well, a little unconventional and the kitchen afterwards looked like a bomb had hit it! Worked like a Trojan from 2 in the afternoon (drinking along the way which may have hindered me )
Success all round though and the oven worked its socks off producing consistently good pizzas (and a nice loaf at the end). The only down side was my singed eyebrows, lashes and fringe and a raging hangover today......

Looks and sounds like a fantastic Party ! Well Done, its not easy the first time, but quickly gets easier with time. We properly do 10 evenings with friends over, with from 4 people to about 20, plus a few for the people over our fences..... Your Pizzas look excellent, I could try one right now !
