The following image is to represent a typical construction oven the oven slab, the following dimensions were used.. The dimensions of the slab i have used is 1.5m x 1.5m - These dimensions will be used throughout the evolving detailed drawings to keep things to scale. - 50 mm Hardcore - 10 mm Sand Blinding - Polythene Membrane - 100mm Concrete - 6mm Rebar This drawing is just meant to represent a typical slab makeup and can be adjusted to suit your design. If anyone would like more a detailed or a different view, then please don't hesitate to ask. I would like to add that all the concept drawings produced for the series of designs are owned by the Uk Wood-Fired Oven Forum and permission to use these images must be given in writing.

Looks great!
Only suggestions I can add: 1) Make it more obvious the rebar isn't in the exact middle of the slab. 2) Change the colour on the hardcore text, it's not easy to read.

Hello Duncan, My wife did mention about the readability of the text, but as usual, i chose to ignore her Am just waiting for the picture to render and hopefully will look better. I am also changing the angle of the image to show the steel is in the centre, will also do a side view if that makes things clearer. Keep the comments coming!
