I've been importing this wood for the past two years which is mostly used for BBQ's in South Africa - no need to use any charcoal. This wood is excellent in the Pizza Oven's - I've just had one built in my garden and I'm surprised how well it burns - only a few pieces needed and this wood produces a serious heat. It's not like any other hard wood in this country as it's so dry and dense. You will use half the amount of UK hardwood and this wood gives a nice aroma to it.
