I this Belle BC 350 secondhand for my Pizza Oven project.
It has been modified so the water cooling system is fed directly from a garden hose, apparently it came with a sump pump to recirculate the water but it kept getting blocked with brick dust.
It retails for about £1200, my local hire shop wanted £180 per week so I bought it for £350 with the intention of selling it when I finished. I thought I would put it on the Forum before I tried Gumtree and/or eBay. It is 240 v and has not tripped out my electrics so is ok for home use.
The handle to use it as a chop saw is missing, any piece of steel tubing should be ok (I did not use the chop facility). The spanner to change the blade angle and hight is with it as is a steel rod to jam the blade when loosening the bolt.
As you can see there is about 10mm of diamond cutting edge left. I have cut about 100 bricks so far and it’s not made any difference.
It does not have any legs as the previous owner had it attached to the back of a pick-up-truck. I used it on top of a couple of workmates (tool not people) and it was fine.
It is quite heavy so will require two people to move it. It fitted in the back of my Ford Fiesta with the seats down so collection should be possible in any family size hatchback or estate.
I live in East Sussex in a village just outside of Eastbourne
I would like £350 or VNO
Please PM me if you are interested or have any questions.
I am confident this could be sold at the end of a project.
Phil
