I'm after an extra long roasting tray, to cook a whole lamb on. Any ideas where might have one long enough? I am restricted by the width of my oven to 14'' wide. I have one 24" x 14" which will do for Christmas dinner, but obviously the lamb ideally needs a longer one (perhaps 36"?) I have done a quick EBay and Internet search, without finding anything suitable at a reasonable price. Regards, Dave

That sounds a rather custom size. Maybe buy two more of what you'e got and get a local workshop to cut the ends off and weld together?

Thanks 5leafclover. I did think that if I can't buy a long tray, I may buy a sheet of 100cm x 50cm x 2mm stainless steel sheet, cut the corners and fold the edges up 10cm and bond the edges with a high temperature epoxy (quiksilver thermosteel is good for 1300'C) as I haven't got any gas or stainless wire for my MIG welder.

A baker friend in Andover (Burbidges) had some made for his bread ovens so he could roast whole pigs, give him a ring.
