I managed to find hydrated lime in my local B+Q actually cheaper than most other merchants. Think it was about £8 for a 25kg bag, and that's been plenty for my build so far.

My first plans of the oven, considering using fire bricks on the hearth and clay pavers for the vault. Should the chimney be fire brick also? or will clay pavers suffice?

Question?? I have a load of concrete cobbles left over from the patio area. Can these be used as a final layer to the dome in replacement of the render??
