Is anyone else in the forum on any of the Facebook BBQ forums? mainly Country wood smoke or British BBQ Society? Well if you are you probably already know all about Jumbucks! But if you're not then you might not be quite so familiar so i think it only fair to share the joys with every one here as well! So basically Homebase have been take over by an Australian company and have started selling Jumbuck BBQ's, more over they are selling charcoal rotisseries for forty quid!! i picked one up the other week and for the money it's great, if anyone has been looking for a rotisserie you can't go wrong for that money! i did kelly bramill's famous kebab on mine at the weekend it was absolutely spot on, heres a link for anyone that wants to try it dreamingoftgl.com/2016/04/10/chicken-doner/keith

Your very own doner at home, delicious !
ps - For flat bread I just use 8oz flour / tsp salt / good glug of oil / enough water to mix; knead and leave. Roll out into thinnest sheet possible then directly onto a hot flat griddle (or dry frying pan). Turn once and serve.

Gday thanks that turned out really well for me. Easyiest flat bread reciepe in the world 250gm Greek yoghurt at room temp add 250 gm self raising flour. Yes you read right self raising flour. mix and cover with plastic film 1 hour. Roll thin 4 mm and cook in hot pan or BBQ plate. It's not just that it's easy it makes the best flat bread

Have you got a link? I've just been on the homebase website couldn't find a rotisserie they may have sold out... I got the last 'display' one locally on the basis they weren't restocking. I got mine specifically to modify, fitted over a stainless steel tray and slid into the oven. Obviously you'd keep the motor part outside... I did give it a go 'as sold' to cook a couple of chickens and wasn't impressed, but then I converted to a gas lavarock bbq years ago so probably a bit out of practice with charcoal. Chas

My s-I-l works for Homebase, Bunnings have already introduced a range of changes including short-term stocking; so if you can't find what you want in the aisle, they've probably sold out. As for updating their website ...
