I see a lot off people build the oven at the bottom off garden, I want to build my oven by the house, the dome of the oven will be 50cm from a pvc patio door the oven mouth will be facing away from the pvc door. With it being so close bo you think it will case problems for the pvc i.e. Melting it from heat from the dome or something along those lines? im building a brick oven with insulation and then rendered thanks

At 50cm from the side of an insulated oven I doubt you'll be able to discern any rise in temperature.

If you insulate the walls well you should be fine. At full temperature I can put my hand on the outside walls of my oven and it just feels slightly warm.
