Read my build thread (below) and be VERY careful regarding weight; mine is heavy enough that the solid plastic wheels on the 'cart' look like they have punctures !

It will be a timber based on solid wheels then thinking 2 x 25mm layers of ceramic insulation board with 74mm thick fire bricks ontop. The dome will sit ontop of this and use the gym ball technique. Still unsure on mix for dome, - I need lightweight but strong so it can withstand moving. It will only trundle between neighbours houses

It will only trundle between neighbours houses If you make the dome from a lightweight castable then it will not be strong enough to withstand bumps and abrasions. In addition it will not have enough thermal mass to do roasting and baking. I've not seen any reports that show a vermicrete cast dome over a gym ball has any longevity. I suspect failure and degradation after around six months at best. Repacing the portland cement with calcium aluminate cement is an option but still results in a very weak casting with poor thermal conductivity and strength. If you use a dense castable it will make the oven heavy. My oven is only 21" diameter yet weighs 250 kg. It requires a strong stand with large wheels. For your application you may be better off buying a stainless steel oven that is far lighter, although it still does not have the thermal mass so is suitable for pizzas only.

Well it’s underway wooden stand is built and the dome is drying ready to lift onto base, So the BASE..... I have a sheet of ceramic fibre boards—- woried that if it gets wet it’s going to be useless as an insulated between bricks and timber, Any suggestions.... Was wondering about foamGlas? Or using a Hardi backer cement board as an additional layer? Any help thoughts would give me momentum.

great. brick at about 375 - 450 cook 1 pizza at time so perfect for family evenings... going to add extra layer of insulation then try and cover with copper.

Nice work on the timber stand. Try to keep the weather off it. Di you use a dense or insulating castable refractory mix?
