Hi all, I am building a combined WFO and BBQ. The chimney is set back from the flu of the pizza oven and so I am wondering if the draw for the chimney will have a problem. There is a wall planned for between the two sections of chimney as well, and `I wonder if I should build that internal wall straight up to the top too. The BBQ sits to the left of the oven and the oven has the flu at the front of the oven, and so the chimney is forced back towards the BBQ for the oven. Will it cause an issue? I have tried adding a photo here (link below). Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. Stan.

Hi Stan and welcome. Overall design looks great! On the flue, gut instinct is to say that it will work but its not ideal. Common sense dictates that the flow will be best if the route is as straight as possible. Bends will also make it difficult to clean should you ever need to though on such a short run I doubt that’s ever really going to be an issue. Have a read of this. Obviously not pizza oven specific but I would think the general principles still apply. Can you re-route so it goes straight up? Appreciate that this will mean separating it from the bbq flue. www.hetas.co.uk/round-the-bend/
