Oven built from free left-over heavy kiln fire bricksI am sending a few pictures of what I built off of your guidance. Everyone loves it. I had access to some free HEAVY firebricks that have never been used for a cement kiln. From a concrete company here in Kentucky, this company had them left over. The firebricks dimensions – are: 8 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches in size. Naturally, I had to find out more about these heavy bricks. The word I got back from my friend about the boiler (what I initially thought it was) is “It is a cement kiln. They use the brick to protect the steel shell from the heat.” The kiln gets between 2500 and 3500 Degrees Fahrenheit heat inside and operates under that temperature. broil king baron
