I went on saturday and even with the regular bursts of rain it was a great day out with plenty of fantastic food on offer ( a lot of it free ) but unfortunatlyno WFO, there was one smoker with built in pizza stonewhich takes 20min to do a pizza so not really very good, I will keep my garden WFO . A great day out for anybody. Conic Hi Conic, was that rib at the Bodean's stand? I saw the piece so I may have been standing next to you not knowing you are from WFO forum. Maybe we can all meet up next year? I might get a 2 day pass from my wife this time, my chain got yanked and I could only go on Saturday, it was wet but still fantastic especially the brisket! Boy I was meat bound for days.

Hello Medinacafe, Not sure what the name was but it was near the small tent with the blues bands playing. There were some long queues to taste the food from the chefs but I soon found out thry would allow you to enter the tents during the judging to take photos so out came my camera, took a few snaps and hey presto you get first pick of the fantastic free food on offer. It was a fantastic day and will defiantly be there next year and hope to see some faces.

Hello hello hello!! Wow what a HUGE surprise it was to see all of you at Grillstock and to put faces to names. I do hope everyone had a great time despite the weather not being the best it could be in Bristol this summer. I will apologize now for not being around as much as I use to and really there is no excuse for not checking in more often. My adventures have kept me very busy over the last year and it looks to be picking up steam. Anyway let's make with the photos guys...who had them all? Yours in smoke, Doc

Hey brother much like you nothing will ever put out the smoke. I do wish I hadn't been so busy both days and had more time to chill with everyone but running between three stands and trying to get competition food in I'm pretty much a blur....until the Buffalo kicks in. Whoh just noticed I have like 4 post? lol

You sure look a controlled blur, was great to watch you in action again, and one day I'd love to cook with you. Yeah this is the newer cooler forum, so we all had to start from scratch, but stick around, I know everyone here values your BBQ expertise and good banter cheers marcus

I would be honored to cook at your side. I received a invite to trip over to Germany next weekend for a BBQ party so I'll have to look into transport. Planing on looking into competitions over there so if you would like to team up next summer just shout brother.
