How do you post a picture rather than a link on this forum?

First of all have a look at this link ukwoodfiredovenforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=info&action=display&thread=111 I am not as good as Calaf or Turkey in these things, but here's my method.....When you "reply" to a post above the text box is the "attachment option!.....click on the choose file box and select a picture from your computer. When you have chosen your pic click "open" and the picture will appear in your post. (click the "preview" option below the text box to see if the picture appears. If you want to turn a link into a picture.....click on the link and open up the picture. Right click on the picture and chose the "save as" option. you can then store the picture in your PC, then proceed as above. To use the "insert image" option, (the icon above the angry smiley) click on the icon then right click on an image and choose the URL address. right click between the 2 IMG's that appear when you click the insert image option......then choose paste. You can make trials if you follow the instructions on the link I gave.....clear as mud eh!! Terry p.s.....The link comes from this section of the forum.... ukwoodfiredovenforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=info it also has other helpful tips in it. p.p.s....here's another explanation from a "Proboards" forum I visit often.... www.rockisland.com/~rkg/nw_sour/posting_pictures.htm

Jonlovepizza I had to remove the link as it contained inappropriate content connected to the image. The image itself is here in all it's splendor... Terry

One of the reasons we moved from the old forum was because of the picture hosting website connected to that forum provider. Unfortunately some image hosting websites will let you save a link of one of their own hosted pictures so you can use it on other sites, but when you post the link and open it.......it appears with their own adverts or added images.....no big deal......we can always "delete where applicable"
