It's great living in quiet seclusion but have had dialup for 10 years and 28k is ssslowww.
Got messed about previously being told I could get a faster service - only to be told it was impossible.
I was again promised a faster service and then had no telephone or dialup for over a month. After 11 technicians visited and gave various stories - I got connected today.
Bloomin' Norah 28K to 5 summat thingy speed and being able to watch Steve Gibbons videos and be on the dog and bone at the same time is mind boggling.
I am off to check out some Budgie vids on U tube.
We had a pizza christmas day.
Snowed here 6 inches and now have floods in Dordogneshire.

Great news Bob. There's nothing more frustrating than a slow PC. Mine sometimes decides to go on the "go slow"...probably because I cram so much crap onto a 2nd hand old lap top. Never heard of Steve Gibbons but I do remember Budgie......Adam Faith played him, didn't he Terry

welcome to the interweb proper, knock yourself out with youtube, I can see that easily wasting a month of your life lol.
Plenty of wood fired oven videos there as well, and just loads of painful looking accidents and people being extra daft.

They were one of my favourite bands in the seventies along with Stray, The Flamin' Groovies and Mountain. I am still gobsmacked at what I can do now I have a quick interweb.
