Hi Please see link to my build - the forum has been most helpful in gathering info on what to do! Still plenty of work left as I will insulate the dome and just generally tidy the appearance of the oven base but as a complete and utter novice at ANYTHING like this to say I'm pleased with what I now have is a huge understatement. s1374.photobucket.com/user/Mandrewbuckley/library/All I need to do is get the hang of using the oven.....

Hellow Mandrew....welcome to the forum.
Nice looking set-up for your oven. As you have gone down the Modular oven route.....always ask them....or Laura (Stone Bake) as to ...the best way to insulate and get the best out of your oven.
Modular ovens differ greatly in how to cure then....depending on supplier.......again ask advice and follow it to the letter.
Please post some pics of your beast in action!

Thanks Terry
I've got info from Laura recommending the best way to insulate their ovens, although at the minute I just want to enjoy using it without spending most of my waking hours thinking about how to cast a base, lay blocks, render, etc.....
I'll probably have a go at the insulation later in the year.
To add to the set up, my father in law is building a 'workstation' (big bench) which should be in place in the next couple of days so all the magic can happen in one place.
Just need the weather to brighten up a little!

If you can afford the mezzo then go for it. You can just about get two pizzas in there.
