Have just tucked into a stunning forerib. Well smothered in mustard powder and cooked to just past rare. Underneath the beef ( which was cooked on the well used walnut plank) was a pan of root veg getting a good dose of the beef juices. I also put two butternut squash in underneath the peppers . Both of which are for soups this week. Attachments:

It was my friends fault!! I was showing her how do make corned beef and kept thinking ...hot beef sarnie s!!! Hence the BBQ at nighttime....... Luckily we have electricity out in the pergola or it would have had to be finished off in the dark!
