Hello all
I have been researching designs for a Pizza oven for a while, I original became aware of the back garden pizza oven when I spotted a kit on ebay. Having now discovered the wonders of the brick built Pompeii and being lazy and a one stop shop kind of guy has anyone built their oven using the KilnLinings kit of parts? If so how much of the kit did you end up using? (I don't like the look of the chimney my self and I am planing on cladding the finished dome in brick rather than clay. I guess the question is really will i end up not using so much of the kit I would be better off just buying what I need?
The more I look at ovens on here and FB the long the list of questions becomes.
Their are some very cool designs though you should all be proud.

Hello Dunk.....welcome to the forum.
We've recently had a build finished using a Kilnlinings kit-form modular oven......looked really good. Can't find that thread at the moment.....perhaps someone else will post a link.
Kilnlinings have ...from this year started selling a "complete" modular oven from an established Italian supplier. He still sells his "kit-form" fire-brick modular ovens. You shouldn't have anything left over from one of his kit ovens. The bricks are shaped nd calculated to build one complete oven. He probably supplies a thermal blanket for the oven but the finish...render, bricks.....or your own built housing (which can then be filled with loose vermiculite) is probably up to you. I'm not sure of his package.
Liam from Kilnlinings is very phone friendly so a call to him may answer some of your questions.
All the best with your choice........and shout out if you have any more questions.
