Has anyone used these as an additive to the final render mix of the dome ? The suppliers claim improved resistance to cracking and winter weather etc.....they seems so cheap that I may as well try them.

......can't mention any names, but I know that one of the biggest manufacturers of modular ovens in the UK uses these in his refractory builds....and they work well!!!

they use these on printcrete concrete when theu do ma concrete driveway and is very tough. My neigbour had some layed and teh contractor had some concrete leftover and wanted to dump it before it set, I agreed to have it about 4 barrows full and I filled in a patch on my front drive howver it dried nearly white c=colour or very light grey. It looked out of place so a month later I decided to dig it up and it wa like iron, I was there all dday with a sledge hammer but it hardly touched it so I had to borrow an electric jack hammer and it was still a very tough customer but eventually came out. I now have a graveled driveway but will never forget how tough the concrete was..
