Hello, I'm reviving my oven build after the winter rains.
I'm almost at the point where I need to build the roof, and was looking for some guidance around the roof frame.
What did other people do? M

Around the oven itself - but leaning forward so that it covers the cook

I've got mine integrated into the oven walls... i.e. the outermost walls of the oven will need to support the roof (gable style) which will lean forward enough to cover the cook...
I'm having trouble figuring out how to make the frame without joists (the oven is in the way), and how to make it lean forward given that the chimney is in the way...

I got some 4"x4" treated timber fence post from ebay for £26 and my a roof just big enough to fit my oven in. but put slats on the sides and made a slatted door so it could breathe. There are PDF's of my design plans to download on my instructable if you want the exact designs. www.instructables.com/id/Wood-Fired-Clay-Pizza-Oven/step9/Roof/
