Made some yesterday...wow...simple too!!!
Go up the garden and pull up half a dozen palm sized beets, wash, top and tail and grate. Grab an onion from up the garden too, peel and grate this into the beets. Add four tablespoons of plain flour. Beat an egg and add to the bowl and mix. Plop dollops into an oiled frying pan on a moderate heat and flatten out with a spat. 3-4 mins, flip, 3-4 mins and flip onto some kitchen paper.
Eat when just cool enough...
O...M...G!!!!
