The bottom was a little gritty but I will make a mop for next time. This is roasting peppers and tomatoes , If I am doing anything wrong please tell me!! Or do you get used to the grit. Ps I burnt the bread but have a spelt loaf to go in when the pizzas are finished.
What a beautiful oven and a great Pizza. Nothing worse than a gritty bottom on ones pizza, a problem I used to suffer ! On ebay I brought a sisal hand brush and attached a broom Handle so I can reach into the oven safely. This I keep in a bucked of water by the oven, and pre-pizza sweep oven floor with damp brush, also hand if you get lots of flour build up on the oven floor ! Burnt flour is quiet bitter !
