Still cannot find Minesamojito flour but scouring the aisles i saw Bacheldre mill oak smoked flour , so I have the barbie going for lunch and am having a go at smoking some organic wholemeal for an apple loaf (thought this would go brilliantly with cheese for a picnic tomorrow) its amazing me just what you can smoke

Hey RG, how did that bread go? I've used that oak smoked flour, and didn't find it very smokey, but still made lovely bread? How was the picnic? Cheers Marcus

the picnic was a hit !! it was a stunning day and we walked from france into belgium !!! did a smoke today a 5 hours shoulder of pork in the barbie and cheese,salt,chillis,garlic and mushrooms in the smoker .

How long would you smoke flour for? Does it alter the flour at all? And how thick would you put the flour in order to cold smoke it do you think?

I hung it in a j cloth as I could not think how else to do it , I used cherry and smoked it for 3hours but my cupboard leaks a lot of smoke !! Mind you it was only a tender and I am only having a bash..........
