I just want to share my experience with Bakerybits with you.
Last Wednesday I bought a wooden peel on their website and it was delivered today. It was not what was on the picture on the website. The website photo was of a peel in one piece of wood and looked pretty good. The one I was sent was put together of two pieces of wood and only two very small nails to hold it together. Also it certainly didn't look like a peel that cost £33.60!
I phoned them to complain and was told they would phone back shortly. After nearly an hour I phoned them again, as they obviously couldn't be bothered phoning me. They did offer a refund and to pick up the peel I didn't want, however, they wouldn't refund me until they were shure it came back in good order. Now, I trusted them shopping on their site and they didn't deliver what they promised and now they don't trust me! They have got all my credit card details and they still don't trust me.
I think that's very bad costumer service.
I'm not sure I will shop there again. If you have got a wooden peel you are pleased with, please share where you got yours.

Same as petec, Redstone catering wooden peels are decent quality, comes in three sizes - can post a close up pic if you need (wooden handled metal peels are good value too)

Hi Stockport......there can be no excuse if the peel you received from Bakerybits was different from the one pictured......that is probably illegal under consumer protection law . The one you received sounds very poor.....like Homer Simpson's Spice rack ! If you've ever seen that episode. My experience of Bakerybits has always been very good . I bought a heavy baking stone which had a slight mark running across it which I was concerned may worsen in the high temps. They sent a new one out no trouble at all . Unfortunately the repalacement got injured in the post so they sent me another...which has been excellent . Thats pretty good customer service in my book . Just to offer a different experience of the company who have a good range of equipment at fair prices in my opinion....
