Well, now I've transferred from the old place to here, I'd better do this I suppose! I (!?) built my oven 2 years ago. neighbourhood pizza nights are carried out through the summer, and this year I intend to do more slow cooking in the oven (Jethro) but as we cook normally in a Rayburn (solid fuel) it shouldn't take us too long to get used to it! So, must think about lighting the fires to get the oven back into condition for this year again.

Hello H......welcome to the new forum.
If you haven't fired your oven for a while you may want to give it a few "curing" fires to drive all the winter out of it.
