Hi all. I've seen vendors with NMTF insurance cards but are these actual fit for purpose as an outside vendor compliant insurance cover to cover accidents etc. The card scheme is setup for traders at indoor and outdoor markets, such as veg markets etc.
Has anyone checked with axia or another major insurer.
If a stall holder had a gazebo blow over and strike someone or a similar accident does this scheme cover you and can anyone give a compliant yes. I'm not 100% and an underwriter said that these card schemes are limited in use.

Have you checked out the NCASS insurance, they have tailored insurance to cover all trading types, including gazebo. Well worth a look. Muddy

The terms and conditions of the NMTF insurance is stated on the website - including the exclusions to the policy (which bizarrely does not cover you if you offer 'fajazzles', not that I am planning on doing it as a sideline!). See link here : www.fedmedia.co.uk/exclusions/
