OK so the build is going well and getting near to the curing/firing stage.

The question is what tools do I realistically need to get for when I use the oven.

IR thermometer and pizza peel obviously.

What about smaller peel for turning, rake, brush, etc??

Any thoughts and advice would be much appreciated.

I have a brush, rake, one large peel for loading/unloading and a small turning peel. I originally used an IR thermometer but apart from impressing guests with the temperature never used it after the first couple of times. When the soot clears from the roof is the sign I use that the wfo is up to pizza temp. I use a cheap oven thermometer when I'm doing roasting or baking bread.

You can use a garden rake (not plastic!) and I nailed a scrubbing brush to a broom handle initially, and I think others have made wooden peels.
