Hey Guys, Have been asked by a friend to oversee a new build WFO, at the moment the only requirements they have is big. I've yet to get them to see my wfo, will be getting them over next week, for pizza. I'm trying to discourage them from going too big, as I don't feel it's necessary. I'll try and convince them to go for something similar to mine, but as they have ample clay, they live on a farm, i'm tempted to go for a recycled BVO, but using clay as the cover over the barrel. I've another load of night storage bricks just begging to be used, and I have a builder and labourer (her son) to assist. How quick do you think I can build it? Bear in mind, my oven took about 4 days...... Thoughts please Oh I guess you'll want to know what she plans to use it for, same as most of us, but she would like to run outdoor cooking courses wfo/smoking etc. Cheers Marcus

A BVO sounds perfect for your friends needs. If she wants to do outdoor WFO cooking courses then a Vault oven would be spot on as small batches of bread will come into the equasion somewhere along the line.
The choice of using recycled materials or new fire-bricks is her choice as there is a "sacre difference" between the price of the two.
Although I built my dome in 1 day, the whole build probably took the best part of a week in actual hours......depending on what you build you should allow the same (ish)
