normally i am of the opinion that if it looks to good to be true then it usually is BUT I saw this on ebay and they have a rather nice looking one for just over £100 ( bearing in mind the one that I have been ogling is well over £1000 !!!!!!!

Thanks Duncan yes they are cheap but they do seem to be a bona fide seller. I am using my home made 10 euro smoker so much I reckon that I would get a lot of use from a bought one. itsJust that it seems to be too cheap

I think it looks suspiciously like a Landmann 11094 Tennessee smoker (that I considered, £125).

Looking at the pics close up it's almost identical save for the logos on the handle. I would bet money they are both made in the same Chinese factory and the cheaper one just lacking the finer touches like an enamelled grill.

Now, bear in mind that traders like that one are usually "stock-flushers". They obtain quantities of all-sorts of products, often seconds or inventory with design flaws, and flog them through channels like ebay where customers tend not to be fussy or not surprised when they receive crap.

But for £58 delivered I might take a punt myself!

It may be fine, but always be prepared to write-off what you spend on ebay. Particularly if the feedback rating is below 99.8%.
