Carl
The Forum provider we use (Proboards) is a very professional set-up and we are just one forum from their main server. I do believe that there is an app that you can upload/download for use with an iphone but I think there is a small charge. I shall post your question to the "Proboards Support Board" and let you know the exact situation why you can't make links clickable.
Terry.

The support staff just replied.....they want to know...
"Could you get the member to elaborate on what is going on when he tries to open a link, and the example link that he used?"

Also - how do you access the board, is it via the proboards app or safari on your iphone?

Carl...
I'm not bad building websites and I've done fairly well with forums but I'm totally "pants" when it comes to mobile phones. Seems very strange that you get a blank page where others don't......I've passed on your reply to the experts on the support forum. I shall post their reply as soon as I receive it.

Carl Just the the last post to my forum Support..an answer came in less than 2 minutes. (I love these guys)... ******************************** Hi cannyfradock, Since you noted that they are seemingly the only one experiencing an issue, can you check with the member to find out which iPhone they're using along with which version of iOS the device is running? ********************************* ....let me know Carl.... Carl Here's the reply..... "Thanks cannyfradock. If he's using the latest version of iOS, give him these instructions and see if they help at all: - Launch the Safari browser - Press the button in the very bottom-right hand corner of the browser (the one with the square overlapping another square) - Press the "Private" button in the bottom-left hand corner of the screen. - Press "Close All" in the prompt that comes up. After the above is completed, the browser frame should turn black which indicates the private browsing function is enabled in Safari. With this enabled, visit the forum and see if the problem with the links still happens " Terry

Carl Your welcome. Glad we sorted that one out.... Terry N.B...last comment from our Forum's support forum staff.... Glad to hear that worked out, cannyfradock! I assume it's still only going to work for them with the private browsing function enabled, but if he wants to disable the private browsing function you may want to recommend to him to clear his Safari browser cache and cookies from the iPhone settings app and that should make it so the links will work correctly with the mode disabled. Also thanks for the kind words as well; it's appreciated! If you need anything else feel free to let us know
