G'day Crack happen. Ovens are under tremendous strains from heat and in all the expanding and contracting they make thier own expansion joints. Cracks arent really totally repairable. The best you can do with that one is to use some paintable silastic. At least that way you can stop water from getting in. You've probably figured out that the oven still Cook just as well and will not fall down. Sorry can't offer much more but you'll grow to except it as one of the unique things about wood fired ovens Regards dave

Thanks both! Do you happen to know any heat and waterproof silastic makes? I'd like to put some sealant round the flue too as this has cracked so not water tight. If I can kill 2 birds and do the flue and the crack with the same stuff it would be great!

Look up Vitcas they do a range of stuff for WFOs
