I enjoy cooking with cast iron in my wood fired oven. Cast iron always seems to make food taste better and the combination of cast iron and wood make every meal memorable. The important thing to remember with cast iron cookware is the proper seasoning of the cast iron. Most people feel it is a pain to season cast iron and so they avoid it.
