Hello from a cold but sunny North East England. Am a single young fifty something who enjoys the outdoors and joined forum on Sun looking forward to corresponding and looking to buy modular oven for all year round- bread, casseroles pizzas. Interested in what people have said about Bernitos oven as was close to buying one of these and was very impressed by Bernard but not sure if it would be versatile enough and very lightweight. Learnt alot about what others had to say. sandy

Hello Sandy......welcome aboard the forum. Bernito's ovens have been mentioned quite a few times lately.....if you put the name into our "search" facility"...it might take you to all the threads that have discussed his ovens. There's also quite a lot of stuff on our old forum.. oops just noticed that you found it.....you could also use the "search" facility on the old forum. If you don't get any feedback, then post something here.. ukwoodfiredovenforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=modovensongoingTerry

Hi Sandy - build an oven it's cheaper more fun and satisfying...
Rivergirl you are lucky you still have interweb - if it rains I loose my connection for days or months and while the French are usually very efficent and practical - you cannot phone up to report a non-working telephone line from a public telephone box.

Hi Sandy, welcome to the board, I'm sure you will enjoy your research. As an (adopted) Northumbrian, I can certainly recommend wfo cooking in the long summer days, not too sure about the 'all year round' bit though I tend to let my wfo hibernate over the winter with a brief Christmas or New Year's eve wake up.
