Hello all,
My name is Asaad. I am a new member. I have an allotment site, I am also a keen beekeeper.
My new found interest is building my first wooden fire oven, and I would love to learn from all your experiences.
Best regards, Asaad

G'day Assad I'm Dave. Sorry you intro didn't get answered for a bit. I too like my gardening when I can find the time. I keep Australian stingless native bees myself. Coming on winter in the UK things are winding down and less activity . Perfect though to do some reading and get your plans together Regards dave

G'day Allergic to European bees, discovered that as a teenager working with my uncle who was a bee keeper. Here is a native hive. The bees themselves are only 3 mm long and like I said stingless. The hive shown here is only 200 mm x 350 mm x 350 mm. The top section is a "super" and allows you to take honey from time to time. The honey is not like the honey your used to. The flavour can best be described as a bit sweet and sour and very strong. I dribble a bit on chocolate ice cream as it is strong enough not to get hidden by the chocolate taste . Regards fave
