Hi guys, I got really excited when i seen Jamie & Jimmy's Cafe and jimmy did a tandoor oven in a dustbin, so i have done the same. I am struggling with the heat at the mo but having done a little research i think i may have solved it, only time will tell i suppose. I will follow up with some pics later.

Could you also explain how you did it! Thanks Hi Rivergirl, Materials usedDisc cutter with diamond disc Sand Fire brick Vermiculite Terracotta pot Galvanised dustbin Place around 50mm of sand in the bottom of the bin Cut and place brick to cover the sand shaped to bottom of bin Measure from the top of the bin to the sand then cut hole to allow airflow above the sand (I cut 50mm x 100mm) Cut more brick in half and place on their sides to create a ridge for skewers to be placed on also allowing the pot to sit on. Leave one brick out for airflow where you have created the hole in the side. Take pot and cut the bottom of it so it acts as the lid Place pot onto brick and then back fill around it with vermiculite until just slightly below rim
