Gday Pizza oven or Wood fired oven? We all start building these things to cook the best pizza on the planet. True? Of course it's true. Best pizza. You can cook better than the local. Impress all you friends. But the math gets back to bite you. But in the end it comes back to what you want to cook. 500 gm flour 325 ml water salt and yeast makes 4 X 200gm dough balls. Great but a loaf of bread weighs an average of 800 gms? I'd eat 2 pizza if I'm able... That's 1/2 a loaf of bread. So perhaps not every day..... Meanwhile there is all that heat waiting to be used... Sometimes it's not just a pizza oven. It's low and slow roasts And casseroles, it's a grill plate over bed of coals with the oven walls throwing back the heat. It's "fire in the oven" cooking with a wall of brick to slow the cooking down. And it's all outside 4 walls in the open air Regards dave

We all like hot food but not hot kitchens? decided to build an oven will be a round oven and with bricks started to dig out the foundation today then it rained (its made a mess so I will have to get it sorted soon) will post pictures as soon as I get somewhere.
