Hi everyone, Mark here. just about to start building a Pompei oven in my garden. Gonna be building on a bit (well a lot of) a budget mainly using old solid bricks. If anyone is local to me and I can quiz you for advice, please drop me a line

I'm from Middlesbrough , almost completed my budget build with reclaimed solid red bricks. Definitely don't scrimp in insulation though !

Hi Mark, also from Durham, and hubby has just started on his WFO project after years of talking about it. Bought a modular oven due to lack of time, and the urgent need for pizza. Have laid the paving in anticipation, and hoping to get started on the stand soon.

Hi there , my oven is now finished and we have had a few pizza nights , and to great success , first time we had few issues but gradually getting better. Last weekend turned out perfect , pizza was Amazing with a great taste and went down well with the family, Far better than the pizza shop. Good much with your modular build , I'd say that was a good call with not having much time , if is have known the time it would take and the mess it would make , I would have done a modular one. I am However very pleased and proud if my achievement
