Hello all! After lots of lurking on this and other boards and lots of planning I am finally underway with my build. I am building a WFO along with an outdoor kitchen. All of which is being crammed into a pretty small space. My budget is limited and I am attempting to use recycled / freecycled materials as much as possible. So far I have managed to source for free or little cost: Night storage heater bricks - big flat square purple ones Concrete blocks Bricks - old red clay ones but frogged - 2 different sets, about 250 in total Wood to assist in construction, lots of old decking etc Portland cement Sharp sand Block paving bricks, about 50 - not sure what I'll use these for but they were free!! I want my oven to be used for pizza and roasting meat so I have gone for the biggest area I can fit in. The outdoor kitchen will incorporate a gas bbq, tandoor oven, small sink and cocktail bar. I used a really cool free app called sweethome 3D to design, measure and plan to whole project: Here is my planning to get the largest oven floor size from the space and materials I had: Here are some more build pics: Here is my Tandoor oven that I built using flower pots:
