Hi All
I have been reading avidly about wood fired ovens for quite some time as this passion aroused itself when I lived in Europe. I saw a lot of Pizza ovens made in Portugal and whilst cheap to buy the shipping costs was horrendous. Whilst I have no aversion to paying the current cost for one of those (£450 - £500) I will not be able to manage to manipulate the weight (650KG) when it arrives unless I enlist the help of someone with a HI AB. Therefore I am considering making one myself but don't want to get into the brick scenario or clay. I am thinking of casting one from Refractory cement and perlite, has anyone done this? and does anyone know of anyone who produces moulds or is this a DIY thing too?
Any advice or guidance appreciated, Thanks
