Hi everybody, My name is Ina, I´m a German native who lives more than 10 years in Northwest Spain, in the autonomous region of Galicia - very rich in culture, landscapes and gastronomy. Since mid of June I´ve finished my traineeship by becoming a Tecnician in Bakery/Pastry according to the Spanish education sistem. If you are interested in getting to know more about Spanish and also German gastronomy, I´ll be pleased to help out where I can.

I.'m hopefully just a few weeks away from starting to use my wood burning oven. In the middle of constructing the dome. Keen to learn new skills in baking and cooking. Thank you for your post Ina. Galicia is a region that interests me and I would like to visit it sometime. I read that it is a little bit like Cornwall; this is fine - as long as it doesn't get quite as much rain!
Your post inspired me to have a quick look at Galician cuisine and I think Empanadillas Gallegas will be on my to do list.
