Hey all, I'm trying to put together a pro line kitchen in my new place, and really want a wood fired oven in to replace the electric thing that's there ... Trouble is, most of the ovens seem just too big and I m not really enamoured by the igloo.... Ideally want it housed behind s. Steel to match the rest of the kitchen!!! Any suggestions welcome!!!!

Have a look on the Forno Bravo forum; it's more American centric than this place and they do have a number of indoor oven builds detailed.

Keep in mind what you want to cook with it.
If bread, meats, etc - you'll be well suited by a rectangular or other "live flame heat" built. The igloo dome (internally at least) is aimed at providing radiant heat from the dome, thus cooking from 3 angles: - heat from the fire (air) - heat from the floor bricks - heat from the roof bricks which is needed for that authentic thin crust pizza.
The second challenge will be space - the bricks are used (quite thick!) to retain heat, and the insulation (again quite thick) to keep the heat in. Again, not an issue if you plan on cooking with a live flame.
May be worth looking at forno bravo as mentioned, but also at aga cookers. I believe they have a wood/pellet fired oven that may suit you...
