Hi, Had the builders put down a slab and started working on a small pompei oven in between the showers over christmas. Have had some set backs but things seem to be on track again. Will post some pictures this week.

Hello aus....
All the best with your build. Please post any probs that that need addressing. Forum is quiet this time of year but there's usually someone who will respond to dome building issues. ....I'm also S.Wales. If you're not to far from Newport ....I may be able to make a site visit.

Hello and welcome. I'm in south Wales too, just outside neath. It's far too cold for me to work out back on my oven so I've covered her up all snug until the weather gets a bit better. Good on you for making a start.

Good day I have just bought a house near Kidwelly, I've been baking my own bread and making sausages for years but never had the room for a wood fired oven. I'm a total virgin to this. I have been looking at kits and self build and the whole oven, but at around 450kg wouldn't know how to get it on the base. So I could do with some advise please.
